Spirituality without bypassing

Spirituality without Bypassing

Workshop replay

Have you ever tried to chase away your parts through meditation, like the clouds in the sky?

Or hoped that your yoga practice, manifestation rituals, or favorite mantras would make your suffering disappear and lead you to a permanent state of pain-free awakening?

Have you used spirituality to avoid confronting abusive people, letting the people who hurt you off the hook, or put up with intolerable behavior in the name of compassion? Perhaps you even have a self-like part that uses IFS to justify not protecting yourself when your parts are being abused.

Many people who have experienced trauma are drawn to spiritual research or practice, but often find nothing there. not the solutions to heal the parts that have been injured and who need help.

If you are a therapist, you are probably looking for new approaches to better support your clients in their healing journey and personal development. Are you open-minded and thirsty for new knowledge that could help you in your practice?

The workshop “Spirituality without Bypass” was designed specifically for the curious, the passionate and the professionals ready to explore new perspectives and integrate spiritual practices in their daily lives or in working with their patients.

Spirituality without bypassing is an approach that transcends traditional methods of healing and support.

It offers a holistic view of health and well-being, integrating spiritual, psychological and emotional aspects.

Le spiritual bypass refers to the use of spiritual beliefs and practices, such as mindfulness meditation, as a way to avoid or circumvent unhealed trauma or painful emotions.

This also refers to the tendency to use spiritual concepts to rationalize experiences of injustice or discrimination, instead of acknowledging them and taking steps to address systemic issues such as racism or socio-economic inequality.

Spiritual bypassing involves using spiritual concepts such as "Everything happens for a reason," "Let go and trust the universe," or "Step out of the victim role" to deny or minimize the significance of negative emotions rather than to face them and deal with them in a healthy way.

Although spirituality can be a precious source of comfort, of support and assistance in our personal journey, spiritual bypassing can lead to emotional and psychological problems, including a lack of self-awareness, disconnection and dissociation from reality, and an inability to approach personal and societal issues with sufficient energy.

With workshop “Spirituality without Bypassing”, you will have the opportunity to dive into a world of profound transformation, where healing will no longer be only physical and mental, but also spiritual.

Join the Founder of IFS (Inner Family System) Richard Schwartz and Dr. Lissa Rankin for this workshop to learn how to practice a “Spirituality without bypassing”, a natural spirituality of the Self, which does not leave aside our “parts”.
